How to reset my Innway?

In the rare instances you need to reset your Innway, press and hold the Innway’s button for around 20 seconds until you hear two beeps.

If you are having issues with your Innway and you have access to another Innway, you can use it to test whether it is a device or software problem. If the other Innway works fine on the same phone, it is likely a problem with your Innway. Reset the Innway and the problem usually goes away.

Can I use my Innways with RFID-blocking cases?

You can use your Innway with RFID-blocking cases by attaching the Innway outside the case.

RFID-blocking materials will cut off Bluetooth signal and prevent your Innway from connecting with your phone. Placing your Innway in RFID-blocking cares will make it disconnect and ring both your phone and Innway.

You can use the Innway app on your phone to find your Innway. Check whether your Innway is connected.

If the app shows an orange dot, your Innway is disconnected. You can navigate to the last seen location.

When your Innway is within Bluetooth range, you can use the app to make it ring to help you find it.

  2. Tap on the Ring my Innway button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Your Innway would ring if it is within Bluetooth range. Follow the sound to find your Innway.
  4. If your Innway doesn’t ring, it is most likely out of range. The map will show the last seen location of your Innway.

If you tried ringing your Innway but you can’t hear its ringing, you can try to locate it using the signal strength indicator.

  1. Launch the Innway app. The app should show the Innway as connected with a green dot. If it says disconnected and shows an orange dot, it means the Innway has been disconnected and is out of range.
  2. There is a signal strength indicator on the device list on the right of each connected Innway. More filled bars indicate stronger signal.
  3. Move around the area and watch the signal strength. The stronger the signal, the closer you are to your Innway.

When your Innway disconnects, the app drops a pin at its last seen location. You can navigate to the location to find your Innway.

Why does it say that my Innway is paired with another account?

This might happen if you purchased a used Innway and the previous user did not delete their Innway from their account. We do not resell used Innway devices. However, there are vendors selling used Innway products on eBay and Amazon. We do not recommend purchasing from them as they are unable to provide the warranty coverage you will get if you purchased directly from us.

If you purchased from us and encounter this issue, it is probably due to an error during the pairing process. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Delete the Innway app.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Download the Innway app again.
  4. Press and hold the Innway button for at least 20 seconds to reset it.
  5. Try the pairing again.

If you still see the same message, contact customer support to resolve the problem.
